MORE ABOUT ME

While I have long considered therapy my life calling, I channeled my interest in human behavior through my work as a life coach and in marketing communications (in the high-tech industry) in my previous careers.

My work in business afforded me the ability to learn skills I now use as a therapist including:

  • setting goals to drive results

  • importance of setting healthy boundaries

  • being direct and authentic

  • using coping skills

  • communicating with people of all levels

  • group and relationship dynamics

  • and it’s ok to ask for help!

This dovetailed seamlessly into my career as a therapist. My broad personal and professional experiences have taught me the value of building positive connections with diverse people by maintaining a culturally sensitive and nonjudgmental perspective. I value bringing my own humanity and experiences into my work!

While we're all responsible for our lives, we weren't meant to manage everything on our own. Life doesn't have to be an independent DIY journey. Autonomy has its benefits, but it can also be lonely and frustrating.
